Flu Season Home Remedy
Ingredients
- 6 cups • distilled water
- 1 • whole lemon
- 2-3 tablespoons • fresh ginger root slice up into medium pieces
- 5-6 cloves • crushed garlic crush with flat end of knife – no need to cut up
- 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon • cayenne pepper to taste
- • Honey amount to taste
Notes
- Add water in a medium saucepan.
- Add juiced lemon and entire lemon rind, ginger root and crushed garlic cloves.
- Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer (medium heat). Allow it to cook for about 15 minutes. The liquid will become darker in color and fragrant.
- Add cayenne pepper.
- Strain and discard off contents keeping liquid.
- Add honey to taste to each individual serving.
