‘Tis the Season-al Allergies? Top 5 Supplements to Support It

Seasonal allergies, commonly referred to as hay fever, arise during particular seasons of the year. These allergic reactions often occur when outdoor molds release spores or when plants disperse minuscule pollen particles into the air for fertilization. Such allergies signal an imbalance in the immune system. In this article, I’ll explore natural methods to enhance your immune response.

The timing and severity of seasonal allergies vary depending on what triggers an individual’s immune system. For instance, in the Mid-Atlantic region, tree pollination typically takes place between February and May.

Spring allergies are caused by tree pollen, which have already started spreading (between January and April), depending on the climate and location. Trees like oak, birch, maple, and walnut are common triggers. In some regions, certain weeds may also pollinate during spring.

So what can you do?

Managing allergies involves an anti-inflammatory diet and lifestyle. Focus on strengthening the gut with probiotics and fermented foods.
